David Albertson has won a 2014 Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award for Theological Promise for his new book on Cusanus, Mathematical Theologies: Nicholas of Cusa and the Legacy of Thierry of Chartres. The award is administered by the Forschungszentrum Internationale und Interdisziplinäre Theologie at the University of Heidelberg.

The Society hosts a special conference every other year at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The next conference will be on October 10-12, 2014, and the theme will be “Nicholas of Cusa’s Legacy in the Renaissance and Reformation.”
