Kalamazoo Conference 2014

Every Spring the Society sponsors several sessions at Kalamazoo, otherwise known as the International Congress of Medieval Studies at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We also sponsor the Morimichi Watanabe Lecture as a contribution to the Congress as a whole. In May 2014, Olivia Remie Constable will deliver the Morimichi Watanabe Lecture, and the Society will sponsor two sessions:  “Nicholas of Cusa and Jewish Thought,” including papers on Cusanus’ reception by Spinoza and Buber; and “Philosophy and Theology of Nicholas of Cusa.”

At Kalamazoo the Society also hosts a convivial banquet for members and guests. For more information about Kalamazoo, and to register for the banquet, please contact Don Duclow.
